10 Little Known Supervillains That Could Make Marvel Millions
2. Magus
At the end of the day, Magus’ entry into the MCU hinges entirely on the arrival of another character. However, given the sheer importance of Adam Warlock in the MCU lore, and considering the fact that he has already been name dropped on Guardians of the Galaxy, it only seems like a matter of time before the blond haired protector of the universe arrives on the Big Screen. And when he does, who better to oppose him than his own evil reflection?
Magus was first encountered by Warlock as a dark version of himself from the future. Despite his efforts at altering the timeline to prevent his creation, Magus keeps coming back to pose a huge threat to the universe. His most famous act comes during the Infinity War arc.
Here, Adam removes both his good and evil sides, so that he could become a neutral being and use the Infinity Gauntlet with pure logic. Unfortunately the evil half takes the form of Magus and sets off the rest of the events of Infinity War.
With Warlock rumoured to be arriving soon, Magus would only be a logical inclusion as part of his storylines, perhaps even leading to the next big arc of the MCU.
