Among its various formats, Golgo 13 has sold a combined 280 million copies, making it the second or third-best-selling manga series of all time. It's easily the highest selling Seinen manga series in the history of the media, and over the years, it has been adapted into two live-action films, an anime film, an OVA, a 50-episode anime TV series, and six video games.
The series follows Duke Togo, a professional assassin who uses a highly customized M16 assault rifle. He's quiet and only speaks when he needs to, and he's willing to kill anyone who threatens him in any way.
