10 Marvel Characters Who Became Ghost Rider

5. Alejandra Jones

Cosmic Ghost Rider Frank Castle
Marvel Comics

One should never assume the Ghost Rider has to be attached to a man; it could just as easily find its way to a woman as it did during the Fear Itself crossover event.

During the event, a man named Adam convinced Johnny Blaze to give up the Spirit of Vengeance. The person chosen to take up the mantle was Alejandra Jones, but Adam had a plan to wipe out all sin in the world. While this sounds noble and sweet, it would effectively turn all of humanity into mindless zombies.

Blaze learned of the plan and teamed up with the Seeker to put a stop to it. After Jones/Ghost Rider manages to kill off all sin in Nicaragua, Adam takes her to Cape Canaveral so he can shoot her into space. When they arrive, he attempts to get her to focus her powers on a camera that would project them onto the entire planet.

Fortunately, Blaze made a deal with Mephisto for a bike he could fly into space, which he used to confront Adam. Ultimately, Adam is stopped and Jones breaks away from his influence, becoming a new Ghost Rider, with Blaze on board to help her adjust.
