10 Marvel Characters Who Became Venom
4. Patricia Robertson
Patricia Robertson is the second host to go by the name of She-Venom, and also happens to be one of the most terrifying-looking of them all.
Introduced in Venom #1 in 2003, Pat Robertson is a US Army lieutenant stationed in the arctic. In this particular issue's plot (which itself seems to take inspiration from John Carpenter's The Thing), Robertson travels to a nearby laboratory only to find that the entire crew have been killed. It eventually transpires that they'd be working on a clone of the symbiote, which had then gotten loose and massacred them all. Lovely.
Wolverine - pretty much out of the blue - also features in the story and is briefly taken over by the symbiote, but it's Robertson who actually goes full Venom. She even ends up travelling to New York in an attempt to kill Eddie Brock, but it doesn't end well for anyone concerned.
Currently, Robertson's whereabouts are unknown, but there's no ignoring just how terrifying her Venom looked - protruding fangs and all.
