You could easily watch the entire of Justice League Unlimited back to back every single day, and still miss Nightwing's cameo in the series.

Due to the aforementioned ban on featuring many Bat-characters, Dick Grayson's cameo naturally had to be made incredibly short. However, said feature is so short that it's literally eight seconds long, in a total blink-and-you-miss-it moment.

In the episode 'Grudge Match' - which is the ninth episode of the third series - our heroes visit Blüdhaven, a city that Nightwing polices. In a panorama that shows the area, we are shown a row of gargoyles, only for one of said gargoyles to then move, making you realise it is instead the crouching figure of Batman's former sidekick.

Hilariously, we aren't even shown Nightwing in colour, but rather his blacked-out silhouette, meaning the only clear sign it's him is his signature hairstyle. Well, that and the fact he's lurking on a rooftop with the kind of menace only someone trained by Batman could manage.
