4. Bullseye - Daredevil (Vol. 1) #161
Other than Kingpin, Bullseye is easily Daredevil's most infamous villain. Benjamin Poindexter (also known as Lester) is an unstable assassin who uses his line of work to indulge his most psychopathic tendencies. His markmanship skills are virtually unrivalled on a street level, and he is capable of using any object to precise and deadly effect.
While their rivalry prior to the events of issue #161 was already palpable, their fight in the issue (also featuring Black Widow) would make Bullseye terrifyingly obsessed with the Devil of Hell's Kitchen and give new and sinister weight to their future encounters.
The villain kidnapped Natasha Romanoff and took her to Coney Island in order to lure out Murdock. Luckily for the super-spy, she was able to escape and before she could confront her captor, Daredevil swiftly appears and delivers a ferocious beatdown to Poindexter.
This brutal barrage is so damaging to Bullseye that he suffers a mental breakdown and from this point on his fixation with the vigilante began.
