3. Dark Multiverse

The Dark Multiverse lived below the “true” Multiverse and was made up of worlds and people spawned from every bad decision and fear ever dreamt. The worlds were in a constant state of decay and disintegration, as the ideas that created them were never stable.

The Batman Who Laughs was the vile, villainous creature that followed this dimension’s Batman back to the Multiverse. Batman’s interaction with the five elements: Nth Metal, Promethium, Dionesium, Electrum, and Batmanium through the machinations of Barbatos led to the creation of several dark worlds that had vastly altered and twisted versions of Batman and assembled them into an army called the Dark Knights to use against the positive Multiverse and the Justice League.

There are many dying worlds of The Dark Multiverse. And there was nothing positive that came from any of them. There was only heartbreaking sadness and terror. Life on these planets was a desolate reflection of the positive universe world and they often ended with the total destruction of that world by a Batman that was drastically altered from the life and especially the mission of the Batman of the positive universe. Those subtle changes in one man doomed the lives of billions.
