10 Most Disastrous Comic Book Misprints

8. Fantastic Four #88: Two Left Hands?

Spider Man S Weiner
Marvel Comics

Reed Richards in Fantastic Four #88 is a lot like Reed Richards in the three failed Fantastic Four films. That’s to say; he does some weird things for no reason and has cheesy “effects” to back it up. In the case of the comic book the effects are the drawings, and whoever drew the cover to this book either never studied anatomy or refused to look at their own hand as inspiration.

Still can’t see the misprint? In an attempt to pull a prank for no conceivable reason, Mr. Fantastic taps Alicia Masters on the head. He clearly does this with his right arm, only it’s his left hand that’s attached to it.

So either he intentionally morphed his right hand into his left hand for absolutely no reason whatsoever, or someone at Marvel screwed up, threw their mistake on the cover of the issue, and called it a day.

Jake Black writes the funny, weird, interesting things that you love reading. He's super cool, really famous, and everyone likes him. He's never once been punched in the face by Johnny Depp on a ferry traveling to Southampton, England.
