4. Tarantula And Dick Grayson

Harleen Joker Harley Quinn
DC Comics

Pretty much every single comic with Tarantula in serves to further prove that Tarantula isn't a hero - because anyone who does so much genuinely terrible stuff cannot feasibly be placed under such a title.

For anyone unconvinced, Nightwing #93 covers Tarantula's murder of Blockbuster, and her subsequent sexual assault of a traumatised Dick Grayson. While Nightwing doesn't stop her from the murder, this is only because Blockbuster is literally at that moment telling him that he will 'never stop' killing his loved ones.

Realising he has broken his moral code, Nightwing breaks down, running to the roof while clearly having a full scale panic attack. Not only does Tarantula fail to even attempt to help him, she takes this moment to become the worst human ever, and decides to try and have sex with him while he mumbles apologies and requests for her to not touch him.

Although Tarantula is absolute garbage, her character does serve to emphasise an important point - that even the 'good guys' and people tasked with helping people can do some genuinely awful things at the same time.
