10 Most Embarrassing Comic Book Deaths

I know that I already talked about this one when I mentioned what has to be the single most derided panel in Marvel Comics’ history, but this one is too hysterical not to bring up.

We’ve already established that the Ultimatum storyline was a blood soaked cross over that features ridiculously gory deaths for a number of heroes and villains alike. Heads get crushed, heads get decapitated, heads get bitten off in acts of cannibalism.

The worst offender of head-related violence befalls the Sorcerer Supreme himself, Doctor Strange. During Ultimatum, Doctor Strange is one of the heroes that lends his mystic talents to end the batshit insanity of Magneto. Dormammu, one of the Doctor’s most well known foes, uses his mastery of the dark arts to strangle Doc Strange with his own cape, chocking him out until he crashes into the ground, popping his head like a particularly nasty pimple.
