10 Most Iconic Superhero Symbols

Sometimes the best superhero logos aren't symbolic icons that gesture towards what the hero actually is, it's just their initials styled in a creative way. One of the more famous examples of this is Daredevil.

It's about as simple as this type of superhero symbol gets, in that it's just the two D's that make up his alter-ego's initials, placed slightly over each other.

In broad daylight the suit probably wouldn't look as good, but at night, constantly shrouded in shadow, the red is darkened just enough to make it look legitimately threatening.

And the twin D's being made just a shade brighter red than the rest of the suit not only helps it stand out from the rest normally, but also stands out well when the rest of the suit is shrouded in darkness.
