While it might not appear initially obvious, Catwoman's first appearance in comics is a pretty huge deal - partially because she's the Dark Knight's biggest love interest, and partially because the pair have an ongoing disagreement about it, as Batman believes he met her on a boat, and Catwoman believes she met him on a roof.

Technically, both are right, as Batman is referring to Batman #1, wherein he fought 'The Cat' for the first time, and Catwoman is referring to Batman #404, where Bruce and Selina meet for the first time before either take up a costumed alias.

With references to the pair's first encounter still taking place in comics today, it's safe to say that this introduction was perhaps one of the most important in the Batman franchise - aside from the Dark Knight himself, of course.
