10 Most Important Events In Batman History

4. Creating (and Rejoining) The Justice League - The Brave And The Bold #28

It almost goes without saying that, of the various accomplishments the Bat has managed over his illustrious career, the creation of the Justice League has to be amongst the best.

And although Batman hasn't always had a strictly positive relationship with the team - as he's no stranger to leaving or being kicked off the team - the Justice League are good for him both in the sense of giving him a wealth of superpowered allies, and in giving him a group of people that aren't his family that refuse to let him skulk in his Batcave every minute of his life.

This in mind, it's safe to say that as much as the formation of the team was a huge event in history because it resulted in the biggest superhero team DC has, it's also an important event in that it provided the Dark Knight a way to ground and humanise himself with a small group of people he (almost) trusts.
