While Deadpool was committed to the Crossmore Institution of England, psychiatrist Ella Whitby is surprisingly compassionate and kind to the mercenary. He soon finds that she isn’t just kind, but obsessed with him. So obsessed, in fact, that Wade knew that he needed to find evidence to put her behind bars. Breaking into her apartment, he is immediately struck by the smell. Investigating the refrigerator, he finds out why it stinks.

Inside were different pieces of body parts that were both of Deadpool and his Earth-12101 counterpart who has been dubbed Dreadpool and was the Deadpool behind the mass killing stories until the 616 Deadpool stopped him. The sight made the mercenary vomit in his own mask. Wade also found information that showed Whitby was planning to kill the Warden of the Institution in his name.

Wilson stopped the Warden from going home and found Whitby there, wearing a version of his costume, holding a gun. Ella planned an explosion that ejected the Merc onto the street. Deadpool returned to Whitby’s apartment and gathered the body parts into a garbage bag and threw them out of the window into a dumpster. Just then, a badly burned Ella came into the door professing her love for Wade. He told her that he didn’t love her and that he loved Death more. With this, she put the gun in her mouth and pulled the trigger.
