10 Most Powerful Batman Villains

1. Bat-Mite

DC Comics

By having the near-infinite power of what is essentially a god, that's how. Bat-Mite might not technically be a villain in the classical sense, in that he's rarely doing totally evil stuff that inspires Batman to bring him to justice. He's more a nuisance, but that's owing to the Silver Age stories he appeared in where the rules of the Comics Code stated you couldn't show proper crimes if you wanted comics published.

Bat-Mite comes from a weird time in the Batman comics, but he was definitely an antagonist. It's just that he usually wound the Dark Knight up rather than cause crime or put people in peril. He's similar to Superman baddie Mister Mxyzptlk, who wound up being the ultimate villain that basically ended his career in Whatever Happened To The Man Of Tomorrow? At least, that's what happened in that speculative story where Mxyzptlk was pushed to the edge. Bat-Mite had that potential, though, a small man from the fifth dimension who possesses advanced technology that cannot be understood by humans' limited three-dimensional views and can therefore alter reality however he sees fit.

Clayface? Pretty tough. Killer Croc? Wouldn't wanna meet him down a dark alley. Bat-Mite, meanwhile, could wipe Batman from existence if he wanted. Now that's powerful.
