You're unlikely to mess with any of Batman's rogues' gallery, because chances are you aren't an incredibly prepared and trained superhero with an unquenchable thirst for justice, but anyway...

Originally just a crime lord born with a form of atavism that imparted him with reptilian traits, after Crisis On Infinite Earths, Killer Croc started living up to his name more literally, explained in the comics that his disease has slowly robbed him of all identifiable human traits. He now even sports a snout and tail.

Basically, he's like coming up against a walking, talking crocodile. That's been taking steroids since the day it was born. Not only is he strong and not above a bit of cannibalism, but Croc is also tenacious, continuing a battle against Bane even after he'd had both arms broken.
