10 Most Powerful Characters Killed By The Punisher
3. Wolverine
Wolverine is one of the hardest characters to kill in the Marvel Universe, thanks to his Adamantium-laced skeleton and superb healing factor. In numerous stories, he's been shown to recover from blasts that would atomize anyone else, but if a single cell remains alive, Wolverine can fully recover.
This is something that's well known to Frank Castle, and it may have been the reason Wolverine was one of the last targets on his list in The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe. After killing pretty much everyone else of importance, he set his sights on the feisty mutant and found him in an inebriated state, which made things a bit easier.
The two got into a fight, but it didn't take long for the Punisher to gain the upper hand. When he did, he threw Wolverine into an electric generator, which immediately fried him. It ended up frying him so much, only a skeleton remained when his body dropped to the ground.
This kind of kill probably wouldn't have worked in Earth-616, but Earth-95126 must operate differently. Wolverine was completely fried, and this time, there was no coming back, which makes sense, seeing as the title of the story is all about the Punisher killing the Marvel Universe.
