The Ruler of New Genesis. Rival to Darkseid himself.
He's defeated Steppenwolf in one move, survived an attack from Darkseid's Killing Glove & has flown all the way to the Source Wall at the end of the universe. His attack potency, durability & speed are all unquestionable.
Highfather also wields the Source itself & part of the Life Equation in his staff. Two of the strongest primordial powers within the DC Universe & they are at his mercy to use whenever he wants.
Not only that, he also leads the formidable New Gods (such as Orion & Lightray) and their armies against Darkseid. This influence over such external power more than makes up for his lack of feat showings.
Great personal power, an unfathomable combination of powers in his staff and a grand army of Gods, it's no wonder war has raged between New Genesis and Apokolips for so long.
It's only Highfather's temperament as a peacekeeper above all else that we don't see more of his showings of utter greatness from the God.
He definitely deserves his position at the top of the New Gods.
