Superman X is the Superman of the 41st century, though he's not a descendent of Superman, he's a clone of the original. He was created by the digitized gestalt inventor K3NT, using DNA from Kal-El, but online his progenitor, he has all of Superman's strengths, but none of his weaknesses.
This makes him completely resistant to Kryptonite, and more than that, his body produces a type of Kryptonite radiation, which he can channel to fire off a concentrated blast of Kryptonite energy from his hands. He was created specifically to fight Imperiex, but he soon discovered he couldn't take on the villain alone.
