10 Most Powerful Incarnations Of Superman

3. Superboy Prime

Superman Prime One Million
DC Comics

Superboy Prime is an interesting character in the DC Universe, as he's from the real world, though his name is Clark Kent, and he was named after the Superman from comics. In a twist, it turned out he really was Kal-El, and he was transported to the reality known as Earth-Prime when his home planet was destroyed.

He left his reality soon after discovering his Kryptonian abilities, and in another twist of fate, the Superman of Earth-1 happened to be passing by, and Superboy Prime was recruited to battle against the Anti-Monitor during the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover.

He ended up trapped in the Paradise dimension after the "Crisis" came to an end, and from there, he never aged. He watched the goings-on of post-Crisis Earth, and over time, he became bitter and enraged. He escaped with Alexander Luthor, and through their machinations, the Infinite Crisis came to fruition.

At this point, Superboy Prime was no longer a good guy, and he developed powers Superman never dreamed of having. He could alter reality, manipulate time, and punch so hard; he could shatter the barriers between dimensions. He wears a suit of armor that enhances his abilities, and due to his insanity, his powers have greatly exceeded those of Superman.
