10 Most Powerful Marvel Characters Kraven The Hunter Fought

2. Himself - Amazing Spider-Man Vol.5 #22

Kraven Venom
Marvel Comics

It's often said that villains are their own worst enemy. In Kraven's case, he has taken that very literally. This story, written in 2019 by Nick Spencer and pencilled by Humberto Ramos, calls back to the deal he made with the High Evolutionary earlier in this list. In return for sparing his humanoid hybrids, Kraven asked for only one thing - several identical clones of himself.

These "sons" of Kraven, all blessed with greater strength and keener senses than the original, were sent out into the world in a massive hunting contest - but only one made it back. The Last Son of Kraven had killed each one of his brothers, and returned to his father with their skulls to prove beyond doubt that he was Kraven's successor.

Unfortunately, happy endings are rare in the Kravinoff family. After killing his brothers and becoming Kraven's heir, he battled with a foe he fought was Spider-Man, finally killing him - only to realise it was his father, the original Kraven, in the Spider-Suit he had stolen back in the Last Hunt arc. Having tricked his strongest son into proving his worth, the original Kraven's soul is finally at peace, and he dies at last.
