Adam Warlock is another cosmic do-gooder, but one who's powerful for a vastly different set of reasons compared to his cohorts.

Although the character first appeared in the first Fantastic Four run all the way back in the sixties, the most recognisable incarnation only came along in the early seventies, when Roy Thomas and Gil Kane began to explore his lore. Adam, as he would then be known, would go on to play a pivotal role in the seminal Infinity Watch during the early nineties, and was the one who took ownership over the Infinity Gauntlet after Earth's Mightiest Heroes defeated Thanos in the storyline of the same name.

As far as powers go, Warlock has the lot. Super-strength, flight, cosmic projection - you name it. However, there's another power that makes Warlock an invaluable superhero, and that is his connection to the Soul Gem, and the Soul World which it harbours.

He was gifted the Gem by the High Evolutionary, which gave him a vital advantage in taking down those would-be tyrants who tried taking on the Gauntlet after Thanos. After that, there's also the fact Warlock gets even more powerful with each resurrection, with the character having achieved the power of super-speed and the ability to create wormholes from being resurrected.
