10 Most Ridiculous Ways Superheroes Have Come Back From The Dead

6. Green Arrow Comes Back From A Blood Drop

While every resurrection on this list is ridiculous, Green Arrow's was also pretty gross.

Oliver Queen died blowing up a bomb before it could blow up Metropolis. It was a sacrifice that was as noble as it was completely pointless since Superman was right there and could easily have done the same thing without dying. It was also seemed pretty permanent, Ollie's entire body was vaporised by the explosion.

A few years later though, he mysteriously reappeared. Green Arrow had somehow been resurrected and was found by the Justice League roaming the streets of Star City as a vigilante hobo. Green Lantern's ghost then appeared to explain the situation.

Before Ollie died, his best friend Hal Jordan had a bit of a breakdown and became the villain Parallax. He later redeemed himself though and sacrificed his life to save the world.

However, Hal's ghost revealed that, before he sacrificed himself, he used his powers to bring Oliver back to life. He did this by regrowing Green Arrow from a tiny bit of blood that had got on Superman's costume.

Yes, that does mean that, for years, Superman had been flying around covered in little bits of Oliver Queen. It brings up some worrying questions about his laundry habits.
