6. Star Sapphires Sexy Space Underwear
Star Sapphire Carol Farris has always had a scanty costume; however, when she reappeared for the first time in the '00s Geoff Johns reboot, her costume somehow managed to get even skimpier. What was once the equivalent of a small one-piece bathing suit turned into what looks like the dead remains of a flamingo plastered to her body. Every power ring of every Corps within in the Green Lantern mythos has the ability to generate a costume. The Star Sapphires wield the power of love, yet it seems that the big-wigs at DC are unable tell the different between that and lust. How is it that the only mostly women Star Sapphire Corps are the ones who get costumes that barley cover anything while the mostly-male Green Lantern Corps characters are always well covered? Oh! And the one time Green Lantern John Stewart wore a Star Sapphire ring for all of ten seconds, he didnt strut around in a pink banana hammock! He was fully covered from head to toe! A shocking double standard indeed. The Star Sapphires exist essentially as love interests/femme-fatales for the Green Lantern Corps. They don't have their own book and never have any real agency in the Green Lantern universe. They are essentially sexy wannabe space cops who fly around in exotic pink lingerie.
