10 Most Terrifying Villains In DC Comics

6. Mol Uhltep

The Corinthian Sandman
DC Comics

If you're foolish enough to climb the Black Stair past the edge of creation, you may end up face to face with Mol Uhltep, the titular deity at the center of the brand new, phenomenal story, The Last God.

In this dark fantasy series, the people of Cain Anuun are beset by a plague sent by Mol Uhltep, called the Plague of Flowers, which seemingly causes thorned vines and branches to grow within the afflicted, ripping them apart and lashing out at others, while affecting their minds and causing them to attack anyone they see, even as they're torn apart.

It's impossible to say too much about Mol Uhltep so far, with only one issue currently available, but between the god's Lovecraft-meets-Tolkein appearance, the body horror of the Plague of Flowers and the ominous, cryptic prophecies and machinations, one issue is more than enough to prove how terrifying this god is.
