10 Most Unexpectedly Powerful DC Villains

3. Crazy Quilt

Paul Dekker had his eyesight damaged so he could only see very bright colours. He built a special helmet which shoots bright lights, allowing him to have a semblance of sight. After experimenting with these colourful lights, he realised he could make them flicker a certain way that hypnotised anyone in his proximity. This inspired him to become the colour-themed villain, Crazy Quilt.

Because of his ridiculous name, Crazy Quilt is often heralded as the worst supervillain ever. However, the criminal kaleidoscope can do some serious damage with his weaponry. He has a device which removes all the colour from an object, turning it white.

At first, that doesn't sound like a big deal. However, he has used this weapon on art galleries, reducing the portraits to plain white, destroying some of the most priceless paintings in the world.

If the rainbow renegade used this tech on traffic lights, it would make it impossible to tell whether the red or green light was flashing, inducing chaos in the streets.

If he had a bit more ambition, Crazy Quilt could be a formidable threat rather than a punchline amongst the supervillain community.
