10 Oldest Mutants In X-Men History

6. Forever Man - 5,500+ Years

Forever Man is a mutant born millennia ago with the ability to revive himself instantly after he is killed.

Because he has difficulty remembering his past lives, it's difficult to gauge his exact age. However, he was around during the dawn of the Ancient Egyptian dynasty, meaning he's almost 6,000 years old. But if his claim that he's lived "over 10,000 lifetimes" is accurate, he could be far older than that.

When technology exploded in popularity during the Roaring 1920s, Forever Man had difficulty adjusting to society. After trying to lead a movement that embraced the old days, he unintentional radicalised a man called Turner D. Century, turning him into a technology-destroying supervillain.

When Forever Man tried decades later to encourage humanity not to rely on technology, he accidentally deleted America. (How do you even do that?)

Tired of his failure, Forever Man hoped he could end his eternal misery by hurling himself into the Sun. Instead, this caused him to die over and over again until he evolved into a solar being. He returned to Earth and went on spree of destruction before being vanquished by the Avengers.
