Force Healing, as the name suggests, is the ability to cure yourself or others using the Force and is a staple power across both Star Wars Legends and canon.

Initially appearing in the 1978 novel, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, which George Lucas planned to be the second film if the first one was a box office failure, the power went on to crop up many times in Legends. The power had many practitioners, ranging from Ki-Adi-Mundi healing a broken collar bone to Darth Sion maintaining his grievously wounded body.

Force Healing has become rather important in canon, and was first seen in The Clone Wars. During The Mortis Arc of the show's third season, Anakin Skywalker transfers the life essence from the Daughter, the living embodiment of the Light Side, into his apprentice, Ahsoka Tano, to save her life. Force Heal then appeared in the first season of The Mandalorian, where Grogu uses the power to save a mortally-wounded Greef Karga, and was a major plot point in The Rise of Skywalker. During that film, the power is used three times, first on Pasaana with Rey healing a serpent, then again with Kylo Ren on the Death Star ruins, and finally being used by Ben Solo to resurrect Rey after Palpatine's final defeat.
