10 Reasons Being A Comic Book Fan Is Bad For Your Health

2. Not Getting Enough Exercise Because You Spend Too Much Time Reading

Comic Book Guy is an over-exaggerated stereotype of comic fans, but there is an element of truth in his portrayal. Reading comic books is a stationary hobby - it is typically performed sitting down, without any physical activity aside from lifting a finger to flick the pages. This doesn€™t bode well for the reader's personal fitness levels. This lack of physical activity is dangerous, and it is one that most comic book fans can sympathise with. Given the option of sweating buckets at the gym and aching for hours afterwards, or reading a comic book in your comfy cool house, which one would you pick? This isn€™t intended to stigmatise comic book fans, but every one will sacrificed some form of physical activity in order to reap that sweet reward of seeing incredible artwork portraying interwoven and interesting storylines.
