10 Reasons Being A Comic Book Fan Is Bad For Your Health

7. It Gives You Anxiety Issues

Anxiety can be a crippling health issue, causing stress-like symptoms to engulf people who suffer from the unfortunate disposition. Sadly, loving comic books comes hand in hand with anxiety - what if you can€™t get your hands on the final part of a limited edition miniseries? How would you cope if you accidentally ripped a page of your beloved comic? Or you might find yourself living the nightmare where you spill coffee on your comic, staining it for eternity. These questions linger over your head whenever you queue up to get your comics, or whenever you log in to eBay and hope to find your missing issue. It might cause you to lose sleep in extreme cases, or it can push you into taking extra care of your copies of special comics. Given that even recent releases can be worth a surprisingly high amount of money (check out how much mint condition copies of The Death Of Superman or Marvel€™s Civil War event are going for these days) it is hardly surprising that most comic book fans are in a state of constant angst over the security of their collections.
