10 Reasons Being A Comic Book Fan Is Bad For Your Health
6. Your Room Is Basically A Disaster Waiting To Happen
Comic book fans are notorious for never throwing old issues away - they could have a sentimental value or they may be worth money - but this means that they have to construct careful mazes within their rooms to contain this mountainous collection. In what is now considered one of The Simpsons greatest episodes, Bart Simpson is accused of Principal Skinners murder, only to be exonerated when the schoolteacher reveals that he had been buried under a mountain of newspapers. Comic collectors can easily find themselves in the same boat as Barts unfortunate nemesis. You can end up feeling displaced in your own room, having to tip toe around and risk injury to avoid knocking over a tower of comics, or you can find yourself falling and doing some serious harm while trying to pass through this hazardous obstacle course. Despite these grave risks, it is probable that you will keep on buying more issues, adding more danger to this perilous maze.
