3. Dumb Detective, Stupider Villains
Batman is supposed to be the World's Greatest Detective, and he was when Bruce was Batman. Damian? Based on this "story", he's a terrible detective.. The "story" in this book is that Damian is hunting down Dick Grayson's killer, who is the Joker. For some reason he decides to go after Professor Pyg and his dollotrons who're mixed up with Jackanapes and his gang. I think this was put here because Kubert had so little "story" that he needed something to pad it out so this fit the bill (the Dollotrons were in Batman #666 after all). It's so irrelevant that the pointless priest wraps it up in a single panel in issue #3 and the storyline is never mentioned again. It was all useless filler. So even though Damian avenges Dick by taking out the fake Joker and Dick's death was due to Jokerfish bomb, Damian is certain for no reason, based on no evidence to the contrary that "Grayson's killer is still out there. I'm not convinced that the Joker imposter was the only one involved. I'll find whoever's responsible! No matter how long it takes!". What an idiot. Oh and Mr Freeze and Killer Croc apparently both have blogs where they boast about their crimes. That is beyond stupid.
