When The Will falls into a coma, his sister - also a bounty hunter with the suitably badass name of The Brand - agrees to help Sophie and her sort-of-adopted-mother Gwendolyn find a cure.

As it turns out, said cure is profoundly dangerous to extract, as it involves dragon semen - because, of course, this adventure has to contain a suitably weird moment within it. This comes (quite literally) in the form of our heroes finding a male dragon doing a spot of auto-fellatio, and no, you shouldn't look up what that means.

But things suddenly get way more intense when the beast discovers he's being watched, leading to a fight scene that - completely out of the blue - ends with The Brand being chomped in two. Needless to say, this came as a pretty huge surprise, especially given it seemed like she was going to be a permanent main character in the series.

Worse yet, when the remaining party returns to cure The Will, he is furious to find out that they took his sister on a mission just to save him that killed her - so instead of the thanks they were expecting, the recently unconscious bounty hunter curses them out and then runs away.
