10 Sci-Fi Movies That Deserve A Sequel
1. Inception
Saving the best for last, we come to Inception. Christopher Nolan is very well known for the Dark Knight trilogy, but in-between those films he put out the incredibly successful and mind-bending Inception. Released in 2010, it's a heist flick blended with an incredibly clever sci-fi spin.
Leonardo DiCaprio's Joe Cobb is a thief for hire, but instead of stealing in the real world, he enters dreams to steal thoughts and ideas. He gathers his crew together and dives into a stream of action sequences that all take place in different scenes and settings.
Of course, in the world of the imaginary, anything can happen, and we're treated to some astounding sights all the way through.
Inception is loaded with mind-bending potential after a stellar first outing. It's true that the ending of Cobb's story was open to interpretation, but the tales that exist within dreams offer a near-unlimited amount of possibilities. Whose mind could we explore next? That's up to Nolan to (hopefully) decide.
