4. Spider-Man Made Himself Poisonous To Vampires - Amazing Spider-Man #477 (2001)

Since Spider-man can lift a bus and crush a human skull with his bare hands, the wallcrawler has little problem facing off against the strongest supervillains.

However, Spidey realised no level of strength was enough to vanquish Morlun. This vampiric creature is so powerful, he cannot be defeated with brute force. What's worse is the web-slinger can't hide from Morlun, since he can instinctively detect totems (animal-based humans).

After hitting Morlun with everything he had, all Spider-Man managed to do was spill a single drop of blood. Fortunately, that was all the Webhead needed to emerge victorious.

After studying the creature's blood, Peter Parker realised Morlun can only survive by consuming pure totems. To ensure he was as impure as possible, Spider-Man injected himself with a heavy dose of radiation.

As soon as Morlun took a bite out of Spidey, his cellular structure started breaking down immediately. Even though the radiation poisoning left Spider-Man heavily weakened, he was able to use his last bit of strength to pummel Morlun to a pulp. The radiation prevented Morlun from healing, causing his body to wither away within seconds.
