10 Smartest Decisions In Marvel Hero History

Sometimes, the best ideas sound really dumb. For example, asking the X-Men's greatest enemy, Apocalypse, to join the team sounds like the worst idea in the history of ideas. I mean, asking Magneto to join forces was a bit of a stretch.

But Apocalypse? The demagogue who's been trying to take over the world for 5,000 years? That guy?

It may sound but crazy, but allying with En Sabuh Nur was one of Professor Charles Xavier's wisest decisions.

At the time, the X-Men's founder had given up on humans and mutants co-existing, encouraging him to create a mutant nation called Krakoa.

Because this was a new beginning, Xavier welcomed all mutants, including his former enemies. After Krakoa's sovereignty was recognised by the United Nations, many villainous mutants flocked to the island, including Sinister, Exodus, and, of course, Apocalypse.

Although many suspected Apocalypse would cause a scene, he admitted he was proud of the X-Men, since they established mutantdom as a dominant force, as he always envisioned. Acknowledging his life-long dream had come true, Apocalypse gladly agreed to all of Krakoa's laws.

By turning most of their enemies into allies, Professor X showcased the power and benefit his nation had to the world.
