8. Lyla
Miguel O'Hara is the Spider-Man of Earth-928, otherwise known as the 2099 Universe. She isn't a traditional sidekick, as she doesn't run about a city alongside a hero to beat up bad guys, but that doesn't mean she isn't one of the most useful allies in Spider-Man's arsenal.
Lyla is an artificial intelligence system and personal assistant to Miguel. She's also one of the only "people" Miguel trusts, and he shares absolutely everything with her in his fight against Alchemax and the various supervillains who cropped up around him throughout the city.
Lyla does a lot for Miguel, including helping him solve complex problems he wouldn't be able to solve on his own, fight various threats using her ability to project holograms, and records all of his personal journal entries. She's also his confidant, who listens to everything going on in his life, and offers advice on how he should solve them.
Lyla may be artificial, but she can simulate human emotions, which helps her function as a sidekick of sorts for Miguel. He can easily relate to her, and this helps him deal with whatever is going on in his life as a superhero.
