10 Spider-Man Sidekicks Everyone Forgets
5. Ganke Lee
While the vast majority of sidekicks on this list have been partnered with some version of Peter Parker, he's not the only Spider-Man in the multiverse. Over on Earth-1610, otherwise known as the Ultimate Universe, Miles Morales does a pretty good job swinging between the buildings of New York City, and he has a sidekick of his own.
Ganke Lee is one of Miles Morales' closest friends and confidants, and the first person to learn of his new abilities after Miles shared his secret. It was Lee who told Miles he should use his newfound abilities to become the newest hero to take on the name of Spider-Man.
This all happened after Peter Parker's highly publicised death, and Lee was right; there was a hole that needed to be filled, and Miles was the man for the job. Ganke isn't a typical sidekick, seeing as he doesn't go around beating up bad guys, but he does help Miles out from time to time.
If you haven't read him in the books, you've seen a version of him in Ned Leeds' depiction in the MCU, as he was based more on Ganke than he was on his namesake in the comics. As for Lee, it's easy to say; Miles Morales probably wouldn't be Spider-Man without him.
