10 Strongest Comic Characters Who Have Joined The Suicide Squad

The former champion of Shazam is one of DC's most powerful anti-heroes, with his godly abilities making him more than a match for powerhouses such as Shazam and Superman.

He also walks the line between hero and villain whenever it suits his objectives. This makes him one of DC's more morally ambiguous characters, and a suitable member of a team such as the Suicide Squad.

His godly power has enabled him to accomplish mind-boggling feats such as punching with more force generated by the dinosaur-killing asteroid, move hundreds of times faster than sound, and fight against multiple superhero teams. With such might under his belt, in addition to his ruthlessness, it is no wonder that he was an ideal fit for the team.

His first encounter with the team occurred during the War of the Gods storyline, where he recruited the Squad to help him take on the villainess Circe and stop her from destroying and remaking reality.

His next stint on the team saw him team up with his former Justice Society teammate Atom Smasher and was extremely short-lived due to Adam's savagery.
