10 Strongest Forms Of Spider-Man

8. Symbiote Spider-Man

Marvel Comics

During the first Secret Wars event, Spider-Man scored a brand new costume after finding a ball of black goo on an alien world. It was serendipitous, seeing as his costume was shredded and in tatters, but Pete didn't see it as anything more than a wonderful coincidence that solved his problem.

Fast-forward a bit, and Pete learns that the magical costume he found was actually an alien symbiote attempting to permanently bond to his body... who knew? This led to Pete abandoning the symbiote with the help of the Fantastic Four, and by casting it aside, he created Venom, and we all know how that turned out.

The venom issue aside, when Pete had the black costume, he was significantly boosted in a number of ways that make this version of Spider-Man stand out above the normal red and blue suited version.

The symbiote did a lot for Pete's powers and even added some. It was able to create adaptive camouflage, which negated Pete's need to store his street clothes. He could just think of his costume, and he would instantly transform his clothes into it.

The costume also removed his need for webbing cartridges, which were a constant issue throughout his crimefighting career. The suit approximated his powers, enhanced his strength, fired off an infinite supply of webbing, and more. Had he bonded with it, not only would Venom not have become a thing, but he would have permanently increased by several levels in the superhero strength department.
