8. The Vision

The Vision is an android, created by the crazy AI, Ultron. However, instead of following his programming to kill everything in sight, Vision became an Avenger. He helped the Avengers throughout countless battles, and eventually married Scarlet Witch, who gave €œbirth€ to two sons (don€™t ask). Eventually, Scarlet Witch lost her mind, killing Hawkeye and Vision, which led to House of M. Weird story so far, right? But, as the comic world dictates, every superhero, regardless of death, needs to be brought back. So, Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man, brought Vision back. Basically, Stark found The Vision's remaining parts, started putting them back together, and the parts essentially went into reboot mode and assembled themselves. The Vision was born again, by being next to his destroyed body. It was that easy. One minute, he's gone for good, the next, he's putting himself back together.
