But hey, at least Starfire's still AROUND, right? At least they DID get around to fixing what was wrong with her from the New 52 eventually. That's more than can be said about a ton of heroes out there, most egregious for my money being the lovely Zinda Blake, Lady Blackhawk.

Zinda is a hard partying, hard drinking, hard fighting WWII pilot who was blasted into the future for reasons that are, frankly, unimportant. Because what is important is the fact that Zinda was one of the most fun characters that DC had made in decades (no surprise that she was created by Gail Simone).

So because its whole purpose seemed to be to gut all the fun out of the DC universe, along came the New 52 to wipe her and a ton of other heroes from the Earth.

Maybe one day Lady Blackhawk will come back, who can say. We all thought Wally West was gone for good, but he eventually came back, so anything's possible.
