8. Mister Fantastic's Stretching Is Way More Advanced Than You'd Imagine
Considering Reed Richards is the leader of the Fantastic Four, the world's smartest man, and the first superhero to appear under the Marvel banner, his super-stretching abilities seems pretty lame. Being on the same team as an invisible psychic, a rock man, and a living inferno, it seems like the so-called Mister Fantastic is anything but.
But Reed is so astoundingly intelligent, he has discovered many creative ways to utilise his power. He can stretch his eyes, turning them into natural binoculars. He can bulk up his body until he has the same strength as the Thing.
Since he can expand his lungs, it's nearly impossible for him to drown or be poisoned. He can stretch up to 1,500ft, meaning he can use his body as a wall to seal off areas. He can make his finger resemble a key, allowing him to open any standard door lock.
It's virtually impossible to trap Reed in a conventional room since he can convert into a semi-liquid state and escape through a hole smaller than the eye of a needle.
