10 Supervillains Who Made Other Supervillains

6. Sin (Created By The Red Skull)

Absolute Carnage
Marvel Comics

This is probably not hard to believe but the Hydra leader, Nazi, and hate-monger, Red Skull, isn't a particularly affectionate man. When his daughter, Sinthea, was born, the first thing Captain America's nemesis said was, "Daughter? Kill it."

His assistant, Mother Night, encouraged him that any child born of the Red Skull was destined for greatness and so, he spared the child. Still convinced women were the inferior sex, the Skull had Sinthea beaten, tortured, and brainwashed daily to strip her of all weakness.

After knowing nothing but hate and pain throughout her life, Sinthea became a supervillainness called Mother Superior. When the Avengers realised Sinthea wasn't responsible for her lifestyle, they reprogrammed her to be a force of good.

When her father seemingly died (one of many times), Red Skull's henchmen, Crossbones, re-reprogrammed Sinthea, reverting her to her evil ways. Now calling herself Sin, Sinthea's ambitions seemingly exceeded her father's as she successfully laid a full-scale onslaught on the United States, killing tens of thousands.

When the Red Skull came back to life (again) and saw the destruction Sin had laid upon the world, he was finally proud to call her his child.
