When a villain goes by a name that has the word death in it, it's pretty much set in stone that he's not going to be a pacifist.

This said, Deathstroke outdoes even his brethren of similar names, with a kill count that would put the likes of even Lord Death Man to shame. Slade Wilson is routinely considered the world's most successful - and most prolific - assassin, having put more people in the ground than some of us will meet in our entire lives.

This is doubly weird when you remember that Deathstroke has actually taken on a heroic role once or twice, meaning he does actively have the urge to do good things - he just continually puts that aside in order to earn cash, which is pretty damn awful, however you look at it.
