10 Terrible Comic Book Moments That Could Have Been Saved With One Simple Twist

9. Daredevil In Shadowlands

Shadowland 1 Daredevil Kills Bullseye
Marvel Comics/Billy Tan

Shadowlands is by no means the most flawed Daredevil tale in history - especially when you compare it to the early days, which contained an incredibly immoral (if not downright creepy) version of Matt Murdock.

However, it wasn't exactly ideal, given that what was an interesting plot covering Daredevil going rogue eventually revealed itself to be a story of Daredevil being possessed by demonic forces.

The funny part about this is that the reveal is actually what makes the story pale. Had this been a case of Murdock simply losing it about his limitations of helping people by working inside the law, and choosing to go full Punisher-style anti-hero, we could have been in for something really engaging. As it was, we knew it was a matter of waiting until the demon in him was exorcised.

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
