10 Terrible Mistakes That Almost Ruined The Avengers For Everyone
5. Sexy Lady Ultron
Hey, it's our friend Brian Michael Bendis again! And this time he's brought along Frank Cho, the artist known primarily for drawing a pretty good Wolverine and then lots of scantily clad women with unrealistic proportions. And monkeys, for some reason. This was the team who helmed Mighty Avengers (one of the aforementioned multiple Avengers titles currently being published) and whose collaboration "peaked" with a storyline that reintroduced Ultron. Probably as close as the group have gotten to having an arch nemesis, the incredibly smart and incredibly evil creation of on-again, off-again team member Hank Pym - more on him in just a sec - has something of a grudge against the Avengers. Which means just when they think they've seen the dastardly rustbucket off, he's finding a way to reconstitute himself and sneak back into the Mansion to cause more havoc. This time he had a new way of weaseling his way into the lives of the Avengers - by becoming a sexy lady! Because duh. Interfacing with some Iron Man armour and taking it over, Ultron decides to take a similar form to the Wasp because, we dunno, Tony Stark's a womaniser or something? She kills The Sentry's wife, Ares disables her with a computer virus, everything goes back to normal, and Ultron is never seen in Wasp drag ever again. Which is good, as it was stupid.
