10 Things Comic Fans Found Too Distracting
2. Out Of Character Moments
No character should be limited to being solely one type of way. Batman, for example, is a terror to anyone even vaguely involved in crime, who uses intimidation to get information and ruthlessly pursues his goals with a terrifying level of commitment. But he's also a loving dad to both his biological and adopted children, making sure to take them out for fast food and have film nights with them.
But there are certain things that we expect out of well-established characters - like, for example, that Batman and Superman won't kill unless they're basically forced to, or that Deadpool will not stop making quips until he is dead (and even then, there's still a chance it'll carry on in the afterlife).
As such, seeing these figures do things that are completely out of line with their usual morals and behaviour is surreal at best. For example, seeing the Dark Knight make passionate love to Black Canary metres away from the corpses of some criminals he just burnt to death in All-Star Batman feels... sort of wrong on a cosmic level, really.
