Whichever Aquaman you're talking about, his family tree is crazy complex. It'd give the various factions and in-breeding in Game Of Thrones a run for their money. Well, the original Aquaman is fairly easy to trace back, but the whole thing of him being raised by a single dad beneath the ocean is pretty bonkers. His lineage in the rebooted story, where he was born Orin to Atlantean royalty, is truly insane. And frequently inconsistent, as comic books frequently are. His father's identity was a mystery for the longest time, but everybody was pretty sure that Atlanna was his mum. His uncle Kordax is the one who mostly raised him, however, but he was a bit of a nutter and the blonder hair he shared with the young Aquaman was the bad omen that caused the baby to be cast out. Then he was raised by a dolphin called Porm for a bit. Then a fisherman and lighthouse keeper called Thomas Curry. Then he banged an Alaskan woman who was his half-brother's cousin oh yeah, he has a half-brother, too. And various children, adopted and otherwise. None of which are likely to come up in Momoa's appearance.
