An equally stupid joke character to the aforementioned Bizarro-Flash appeared in the pages of Captain Carrot And His Amazing Zoo Crew. Whilst the titular leader of the team - a Bugs Bunny analogue who serves as his realitys Superman, whos a comic artist by day - has been used well in The Mutliversity, his compatriots are less inspiring. The optimistic, literally bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed Captain Carrot survived the long-cancelled Zoo Crew parody series intact because Grant Morrison had something interesting to do with him. The same cannot be said for lesser members of the team such as, say, The Crash, their equivalent of The Flash. Whos a turtle. A resident of Earth-C-Minus, The Crash at least managed to run at super-speeds. Which is a humorous juxtaposition, since hes a turtle! If you needed any more fuel to hate the character, he was inspired to become The Crash after reading comics about Terrific Whatzit (yes, the animal Jay Garrick). A place purely for furries and fans of bad puns.
